So not as big a loss this week as I was hoping. I lost 2 lbs. Half of my goal. But I can’t complain but so much. I only worked out 2 days. I got my hair done and you can’t wash it for 2 days after, so I didn’t want it to get sweaty and not be able to wash it. I was only able to move one bead, seeing as I rounded up a little last week. I am officially down to 5 lbs lost, and I’ve made it into the next set of 10’s down. Which is exciting in itself.
I plan to eat and drink what I please this weekend, and then next week, just be mindful of what I’m consuming and work out everyday. I have until June. I have 25 lbs left to lose. I CAN do this!
Today starts my week long, possibly longer, journey with the raw food diet.
This morning I proudly moved 2 little blue beads from the “pounds to lose” jar over to the “pounds lost” jar. It is such a satisfying feeling. The pounds lost jar now contains 4 beads and the pounds to lose jar contains 26.
Starting Monday, I am going strict, with the raw food diet. At least for a good week. This also means I will be vegetarian seeing as you can’t have raw meat, and no sushi does not count towards this. :( But that’s why I’m getting my sushi fill for lunch today. I also am getting new tennis shoes this weekend, so hopefully I can pick back up with my 2 miles a day and some intense work outs afterwards without the fear of shin splints. My goal for next week is to lose a whopping 4 pounds. Yes, high expectations.
I will keep looking at the Victoria Secret models in their bikinis as my motivation. I will look similar to that by the time it comes for me to put one on. And judging by our weather lately, I have a little longer than I think.

Hard work and dedication DO pay off. I’ve been good all week, avoided temptation. Well maybe I had a little treat (cherry cobbler — delish!). But, I only worked out two days. :( I got my hair done and you can’t wash it for 48 hours after, so I didn’t want to get it all sweaty without being able to wash it.
Drumroll……… 3.8 pounds. I lost a whopping 4 pounds this week. :) Next week I should be in the next set of “tens”. Flabby fat body, goodbye! Next week I will keep up the good work with my dieting, I need to go to the store and get more perishables, and I will work out all 5 days.
They’re are a few tops for Victoria’s Secret that I really want. I’m doing my best to hold off on purchasing them, so hopefully, I will be able to purchase a smaller size. Summer clothes will have to wait for new skinny body.
My weekend is packed. We’re going to the Chocolate Festival tomorrow. This could potentially be BAD. For my diet and my pre-diabetes. But who cares! I fully intend to enjoy chocolate, drinks and candies and foods. CHOCOLATE WASTED! Then there will of course be drinking both nights. :-/ Meaning extra miles will be added on next week. Beer = carbs and calories. :(
